Dating the Divorced Man

 

Dr. Christie Hartman is a psychologist, researcher, and author who has conducted extensive research on dating, divorce, and stepfamilies. She has conducted numerous interviews, both with women who have dated separated and divorced men, and with divorced men. In addition, Dr. Hartman also has personal experience in this area -- she has dated a few separated and divorced men herself.

Dr. Hartman has appeared on national television, including Fox News Live and the Weekend Today Show, and has appeared on News2 in Denver. She has made numerous radio appearances across the country and has given talks to large audiences.

Upon finishing her Ph.D., Dr. Hartman was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship from the National Institutes of Health. She currently works as a researcher for the University of Colorado, where she studies adolescent drug abuse. She has published multiple scientific papers in reputable scientific journals, taught college-level psychology, and presented original research at scientific conferences.

Dr. Hartman earned her master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Colorado, where she studied child and adolescent psychopathology. She currently resides in Denver and enjoys numerous hobbies: she is a runner who has completed a marathon and several half-marathons, and she also enjoys skiing and hiking.
